Food and Beverages
Bedingfeld Park employs in-house chefs, assisted by a specialised Food Service team who prepare nutritionally balanced meals under the guidance of our qualified dietician. This enables our residents to select from a variety of tasty meals.
Menus are seasonal and are changed in Summer and Winter. Nutritional drinks and high protein puddings are prepared if required. Special dietary requirements for medical, religious, or cultural reasons are provided.
Bedingfeld Park entered a partnership with Aurum Catering in February 2023, The Head Chef is recruited by the Executive Chef in conjunction with the Facility Manager. The Head Chef and team have been providing our residents with a variety of delicious meals. Aurum works to achieve a mutually beneficial partnership, with integrity, honesty and professional courtesy whilst delivering the highest quality services.
Aurum is a Western Australian Not-For-Profit Organisation incorporated in 1985 and has been involved in providing food services to the aged care and healthcare industries in WA for over 27 years. Their goal is to provide the best service possible to our residents and to add value by identifying areas to improve quality and reduce costs.
Aurum currently services 14 Aged Care facilities throughout metropolitan and regional Western Australia and produces and serves over 1 million meals each year and regularly provide special diets and nutritionally balanced menus to a range of special needs clients on an ongoing basis.
Entertainment
Visiting community groups provide concerts and events. Regular bus excursions are arranged for the residents, weather permitting. Outings include visits to local places of interest, such as cafes or restaurants, community concerts, special events, picnics to places of interest, shopping services to nearby community shopping centres.
