Our in-house chefs prepare delicious, nutritionally balanced meals under the guidance of a qualified dietician, ensuring residents enjoy both quality and variety. With seasonal menus and a wide selection of tasty dishes, every meal is an opportunity to bring people together, foster connection, and enhance wellbeing. We are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our residents through the enjoyment of good food and shared dining experiences, including our popular Happy Hour held every Friday night, where residents can relax, socialise and enjoy a warm community atmosphere.

Secured Memory Support Unit

The Secured Memory Support Unit at Bedingfeld Park is a purpose-designed, fully secured dementia care wing with 25 beds, dedicated exclusively to supporting people living with dementia or similar behavioural conditions. The unit is staffed by a highly qualified and experienced team who provide specialised, person-centred care, while also supporting families who may be finding it challenging to manage care at home. Care is continuously reviewed and adapted to each resident’s changing needs, with a strong focus on maintaining dignity, safety, and as much independence as possible within a secure and supportive environment.

Dedicated High Care

Our facility includes a dedicated high care wing, designed specifically to support residents with higher needs. Known as Jarrah House, this wing provides single rooms with en-suite facilities and is staffed around the clock to deliver high levels of nursing and personal care.

Low Care Rooms

Our low care rooms at Bedingfeld Park are designed to support residents who value independence while still benefiting from the reassurance of tailored assistance when needed. Each room offers a comfortable, homelike environment with easy access to en-suite facilities and caring staff who are available to provide support with daily routines, social engagement, and wellbeing. The focus is on maintaining dignity, choice, and quality of life, allowing residents to enjoy a relaxed lifestyle in a safe and supportive community setting.

Respite Care

Respite Care provides short-term accommodation and professional care for older people, giving their regular carers an opportunity to rest, attend to personal commitments, or take a well-earned break with peace of mind. Bedingfeld Park Inc. is a community-owned, not-for-profit nursing home located on the picturesque banks of the Murray River in Pinjarra, WA. We proudly provide high-quality accommodation and exceptional nursing care for older people throughout the Peel Region. Our facility includes two dedicated Respite Care suites designed to offer a safe, comfortable and supportive environment for those who require temporary care. Palliative Care

At Bedingfeld Park, the palliative care program is designed to provide compassionate, person-centred support for individuals with life-limiting illness. The facility actively encourages enquiries from people who require palliative care and focuses on maintaining the highest possible quality of life through effective pain relief, symptom management, counselling, and holistic emotional support. Care is delivered with a strong emphasis on dignity and respect, ensuring each person’s needs and wishes are prioritised. Families are recognised as an essential part of the care journey, and staff work closely with them to ensure they are involved, consulted, and kept regularly informed about their loved one’s care and wellbeing.

Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD)

At Bedingfeld Park we respect the rights of residents to make informed, lawful choices about their end-of-life care, including access to Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) where it is permitted under Western Australian law. We take a compassionate, person-centred approach, ensuring residents and their families are supported with dignity, privacy, and sensitivity throughout their care journey. Our staff work in accordance with the Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2019 (WA), providing appropriate information and facilitating access to external authorised services when requested, while maintaining our commitment to high-quality palliative and emotional support for all residents.
